SBI Cashback Card
The OG cashback card for regular online shoppers.
- 5% cashback on all online spends 🛒
- No merchant restrictions
My Experience With Both Cards
HDFC Millennia

I use it as my core card for partner merchants, utilities, insurance, and education.
Spending ₹1 lakh for annual fee waiver has never been an issue for me.
By routing about ₹20,000 monthly through its 10 partner brands, I maximize the 5% cashback tier to gain ₹12,000–₹16,000 in pure cashback.
🔒 Safe & Secure via HDFC Bank
Swiggy BLCK

This card serves as a specialist tool for Swiggy Food, Instamart, and Dineout, as well as 5% partner brands like Amazon, Flipkart, and various OTT/OTA platforms.
Monthly Swiggy spending of roughly ₹10,000 feels highly rewarding thanks to the 10% benefit and seamless auto-credited cashback.
However, I prefer using my SBI Cashback card for 5% back on online spends without merchant restrictions.
🔒 Safe & Secure via HDFC Bank
💡 Tip: Accept Swiggy ORNGE if you’re not eligible for BLCK. Ask the HDFC support for an upgrade after a few months.
Final Verdict
Choose Millennia if applying your first HDFC card. Swiggy BLCK if you already hold a core HDFC card.
Swiggy BLCK is the obvious winner on paper as it offers the highest cashback, with 10% on Swiggy Food, Instamart, and Dineout, plus 5% on online partners like Amazon, Flipkart, Nykaa, and others.
But for a comprehensive HDFC experience, start with HDFC Millennia, a core card that provides 5% cashback on 10 major online brands, 1% on utilities, insurance, gift cards, and education, and allows future upgrades to Regalia, Regalia Gold, Diners Black, and Infinia.
